Admissions
We strive to make our admissions process as smooth and simple as possible. We know people are often calling us in a vulnerable state, which is why our counsellors complete this process with the utmost care.
Admissions Criteria
- 18 years or older
- Experiencing a substance use or addiction problem
- Voluntarily seeking treatment
- Motivated and committed to building a healthier lifestyle free from addiction
- Individual not at risk of sever withdrawal complications, or is 72 hours clean, sober, and relatively stable
What to Expect?
Once you contact us, our Program Manager will complete an assessment with you. The assessment consists of a series of questions regarding your demographic information, substance use history, withdrawal symptoms, and mental health conditions. We will also need to know if you have any health or legal conditions that may affect your treatment, and potentially acquire copies of the paperwork that go with it. The information is used to help develop your treatment plan and assist in preparing for your arrival at Another Road. We understand that certain topics are not easily discussed, but the more forthcoming you are, the better we can develop a treatment plan for you that will provide long-lasting success. After we complete the admissions process and you determine that we are a good fit, we will schedule an admission date. If we have availability, we can admit you very quickly into treatment.
Financing Options Available
We are proud to offer one of the most competitive private addiction treatment rates in the country. Still, some people need financial assistance to get the help they need. That’s where our partners at iFinance come in.
Another road recovery home has given me my life back. They saw my potential when I couldn’t see it for myself. The home was a supportive, caring and cozy place for me to distance myself from drugs and alcohol. Through structured days, group counselling, independent counselling, and various meetings they took us to I was able to start to see the changes I was going to be able to make to stop my addiction. The counsellors were understanding, and being former addicts themselves I was understood better than any doctor or psychiatrist I have ever tried to get help from. This home was essential for me to be able to stop my pattern of substance abuse, I would recommend it highly to anyone considering making this change in their life.”
